Extremely professional and knowledgeable. They were able to look over the whole house, tell us exactly what we needed, and what we didn’t. Gave us varying costs to match what is best for us. Sometimes, when you're making a major purchase/repair, it's almost like throwing a dart at a dartboard and hoping it hits the right place :)
We checked several places, and all the prices on new furnaces were pretty similar. Some a few bucks more, some a few less, but all right in the ballpark.
We chose Peterman based on the salesperson who visited our house to give us the price. He was friendly and professional, and never made us feel pressured to buy. He simply laid out our options/prices, and basically said "If you need, us, call us". We appreciated that he didn't pressure us to make an on the spot decision for something that would cost several thousand dollars.
Installation day--our installers, Justin and Daniel arrived on time and got right to work. We have an older house, and they ran into a couple of snags, but handled it like true pros. They were friendly yet professional, and kept us appraised of their progress throughout the day.
Once the furnace was installed, tested, and up and running, the did an excellent job of cleaning up and left our house in great shape.
We couldn't be happier with the service from Peterman. We made the right choice.

Peterman Brothers is a great. Their customer service is stellar and they are open 24/7 in case of any immediate needs. When we called them, they were very diligent and were able to send someone out to our house within 1-2 days.
When they came to our house, they texted us a picture of the person coming and their name; this was a nice touch and made me feel safe! I also noticed that they always wore shoes covers when coming inside the house. Upon inspecting our home and figuring out our water softener situation, they were very helpful in giving us knowledge about the situation itself in detail.
Due to the way our house was built, they ended up having to install plumbing pipes and a main water shut off valve, along with the water softener. When they were finished, they also left us with salt in our water softener as well to get us started.
Overall great service and business! I enjoy how patient they were with all my questions and concerns. They did a good job explaining the process to me in detail and got the job done. Great experience!

Braden was very informative and friendly. He went above and beyond. He flushed my water heater and then cleared all the pipes since I had quite a bit of build up in them. Also found a couple of leaks and showed me what was going on. He figured out why I was having problems with my hot water in my shower and helped me in taking steps to prevent it from happening again hopefully. Thank you very much Braden. You were very helpful.

We have used Peterman to diagnose and fix our leaking sink.. and had joined the Protection Club.. (no brainer)
fast forward two months later we rattled the pipes a bit loose by running ice through our garbage disposal causing a small leak. I messaged to tell them it was leaking and Peterman Bros. sent Boston out the next morning.. always with a text message informing you with plenty of time that they’re on their way..
He fixed our leaking sink and really friendly and personable.. he even gave me tips about my garbage disposal to help maintain it..
I faintly heard him take a call to help another colleague with a water heater issue and found that to be a good quality and see that he is an asset by helping the other workers with their issue as well..

As a former house manager for over 30 years, I have higher-than-normal experience with vendors and service personnel and because I work in high end homes, I expect excellent consumer service. Often in my job, I am called to choose the provider and set up services. In this case, the homeowner arranged service and I was present to greet the provider and get them situated. As it turns out, the hot water heater was a goner. Leaking and corrosion at the bottom told me what I already knew. The serviceperson, was amazing. He came with shoe covers ready and was polite, friendly and explained things thoroughly so I could present the information to the homeowner over the phone. The homeowner chose to replace with a tankless system and we scheduled for the next day. The following day, Josh T, Brandon C, Mike W and Daniel T arrived for the big production. This was a challenging job. They covered the carpeting and were respectful of the property and finishes. After realizing the 75 gallon tanks from a basement area would not fit through the door on a dolly, they called the boss who promptly showed up and helped lift them over the trim work and get them out without one scratch to the home. Not an easy job! The crew was there all day and left shortly after 5. Brandon stayed behind to walk through the new equipment maintenance and instructions and ensure everything was satisfactory before having me sign off. I recommend Peterman Brothers for any of your HVAC, electrical or plumbing needs and will recommend them to future clients and colleagues.

TRUST PETERMAN. Peterman has been our go-to HVAC and plumbing company since 2016. Service Technician Eric Graham just completed our annual plumbing inspection. We’ve had previous such inspections but Eric performed the most thorough and well documented inspection to date. Eric provided my wife and I an excellent outbrief and added more photos of his inspection than I recall ever receiving. He offered suggestions to “address issues before they become problems”. We chose one his recommendations and he returned the next business day to complete the work. Besides his technical expertise, Eric was polite, professional, and personable. Peterman Bros. HVAC Review:
I was going to get 3 Quotes for a New HVAC after the old one died after 21yrs of hard use. But I stopped the quote getting process, after the 1st interview with Peterman Bros. of Indianapolis.
HVAC Sales Expert, Jeremy Wise came to my home and we did a full review of the old system and found that the AC gas is no longer available and was super low. JW put together several options and also greeted my Cat (Blair) who joined us on the table, to help with the configuration process. Boom Baby…Deal and Financing closed !!
The next business day, Tony & Brandon came out and did a Full tear-out of the 21 years old HVAC that came with the new house and they arrived exactly at the Appt time of 9 AM…. and WOW … I'm impressed !!
The install went smoothly and the work was top notch, clean up was 100% and they even worked thru lunch to get the Job Done On-Time !!
The new very quiet, Goodman Furnace and AC are in and the guys were all cleaned up and back on the road at 5pm the Same Day.
The Duct cleaners will be out next week and ALL-IS-GOOD and Right in the World, at Jim’s House !!

The technician was well prepared as he arrived. He read up on the problem we were having and was ready to tackle it. After checking the system pressure and then adding coolant, he got the system up and cooling successfully.
In addition, the PMI work was very thorough and he noticed several things about the installation that we have that could be improved in the future and made suggestions for upgrades or updates.
We appreciate the options for future upgrades and will probably do those in the fall.

Our air conditioning went out yesterday and the house was miserable. Yesterday morning, I called a few companies, and they were the only one that were able to come out the same day. I knew that we were getting ready to enter a period of a major heat wave, and we needed to know what was going on ASAP.
We were told that they would be there at some point that day, and would call us before the technician came. We got a call about 45 min before that he was on the way.
Patrick was awesome. He find the problem right away and gave us a couple of options on how to fix the problem. He was professional, courteous, and the best part, our house is cool again! We definitely recommend.

We had them come to clear a clog in our drain, and also to replace our garbage disposal. The person who came to do the work was very friendly, respected our home, and was great with our dog. The price for any of this kind of work is always very high, but theirs doesn't seem as bad as many. I am happy with the work that they did, for the price that they charged. And it's always nice that when they come to do the work

Jeff and Silas did a fantastic job installing a new Delta Roman Faucet in the main bath drop in tub. There was no access panel so they had to go through the closet drywall to remove/install old/new fixtures with a new access panel. I was unhappy with the multiple issues regarding Peterman management assignments and customer service calls before they finally sent these two gentleman and got the job done! They really made up for all the confusion. If I have any other plumbing issues, I would hands down request these two plumbers. I had Noah come out today to give me an inspection mainly about a draining issue in my laundry room. With my floor drain not draining well as a result of outflow issues and kicking on the sump pump from too much water from laundry, Noah provided other options in how to proceed with fixing said issues.
He was prompt, respectful, and very knowledgeable. He explained things not aware until I told him afterwards that he was my third opinion/set of eyes on the issue and agreed that what company a and b were saying seems to be the best route for the issues I’m having so that confirmed that I am in good hands. He listened to my concerns and questions and explained what would happen if we did x, y, or z thing to fix my problem in my laundry room. I am thankful for his valuable time and expertise and am passing this good review on even though I chose not to have work done at this current time but the extra opinions, expertise, and thorough explanations has been very helpful in my decision on moving forward with what needs done now that everyone is in agreement with future repairs as a peace of mind. Also thank you to peterman brothers for allowing a same day inspection as this is short notice due to my work schedule to squeeze in as another set of eyes for my repairs/problems needing fixed. What I thought would be the regular standard service fee turned into a free inspection which I am super grateful for considering all the extra repairs i have been having to have done recently. Never hurts to have another set of eyes and I am thankful for Noah’s help today.

The installation crew didn't check to make sure they had connected power correctly. The furnace went out less than 30 minutes after it was installed, and that is when Peterman got extremely problematic - not wanting to send people out for multiple days, initially saying that nobody could come out for 4 days. Once they agreed to send someone the second day (after arguing with me for 45+ minutes) they then cancelled without telling me, and acted confused when I called and was upset that nobody showed up to the appointment.
My youngest son woke me up worried about how cold his bedroom got, and there was nothing I could do except give him extra blankets, because Peterman brothers couldn't be bothered to fix their mistake in a reasonable time frame.

I have used Peyerman several times with mixed reviews. My first experience was with the electrical side. The tech took more than one day to wire a few things. He did mess it up. Another tech was sent and fixed it for free. I had them install a sump pump, no complaints there. Dude was awesome. I scheduled more electrical. I got a text stating that the tech would be at my home in about an hour and a half. Turns out they didnt dispatch him until an hour after that text, with his travel time being still an hour and a half. He was knowledgeable when he arrived, but didnt do the repair that day, which is ok. Then, they had to reschedule the HVAC because of a family emergency. No big deal. Then they double booked the HVAC and Electrical on the same day. Another reschedule. I was supposed to have electrical show up today, but another reschedule. Not happy with this currently.

Efficient, friendly service. I don't like the "all day" system of appointment booking but it's hard to find the time window system any more. Everything is explained, with photos as evidence, and an invoice generated for estimated repairs. Note that customer-supplied parts (e.g. filters for furnace and humidifier) will cost significantly less, as Peterman will add a hefty markup.

The only reason this isn't a 5-star is because the office always tries to deny warranty claims and makes you jump through hoops and complain on the phone before finally taking care of the issues with equipment that they've installed and maintained.

On May 21 , they came out to put in my new A/C system , at the onset , they (Lance and Mike ) the technicians were very professional, and did a great job . now is where they lose points with us... we was scheduled for around 8 am on the day in question and while i might have expected an hour or 2 variance , they did not arrive until around 4pm . and they was here till after 7. on the following morning , we awoke to a cold house , I called back in , and was told (somewhat rudely ) that we could not be got to till friday morning , I called back in and spoke to someone in charge who, very quickly got us on the priority list and they sent out Robert who got here within a couple of hours and within that time It was discovered the Gas had not been turned back on to the furnace . Robert was quick to check things out , made a couple of minor tweaks and the system has been fine ever since . Since it has not been warm enough to run the A/C , will see how that goes when time comes.

Trey Rowell with Peterman Brothers had done our initial free inspection. It ended up that he also was the electrician who came out to do the service work. He was professional and courteous. He finished the job in the estimated time and actually was able to shave a significant amount of money off of the original quote. I woke up a few days again to a gurgling sound in my toilet as I was taking a shower. I didn't think much of it, thought it was a clogged drain from hair, I have long curly hair.
Come to find out my sewer is clogged. I called on Sunday. My mom swears by this company. Someone could have come out but I waited until Monday morning. The gentleman were very nice. Educated me along the way and made sure I understood what was happening and why they were doing what they were doing. I've got roots in the line and old clay pipes going out to the sewer line.
I was offered a great deal with good financing. They will be starting work within 48 hours.
Thank god for Petermans. It feels good to have a company you can trust that's honest and explains how things work. Best of all, they do it all: Air conditioning, plumbing, electric, HVAC, water heater.
This could have been a bad day but I feel relieved.

Jeff Myers and Silas Ratliff worked on some drainage issues I was dealing with. They were very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail on what was going to be done. I had a couple water lines that needed moved in addition to what was already needing done and they completed that as well with no issues. Dillon came today to flush our city water service line after repair of a break and subsequent presence of dirt in the lines. He was very thorough and flushed all indoor and outdoor faucets and cleaned the screens. He made sure everything was functioning and the water was clear with normal pressure. We are very happy with the quick response and restoration of our water service. Very nice young man too, like all the Peterman Brothers employees we’ve encountered.

There's something about owning a home that causes you to have an immense fear that the sound you just heard is actually a massive money pit opening up. Peterman has brought us some piece of mind though and we love working with them. We had them come to check out our AC and the team was prompt, super nice, and took great care of us. I have been really impressed with their commutation which makes booking them to come out and follow-up near seamless. We opted for a yearly plan with them so that we can keep on top of things throughout the year. Wouldn't go to anyone else!

I won't ever use another plumbing company. 6 companies out and with an estimate as high as 10k to fix it and Peterman Brothers were running a special and got it $85. Don't waste time with other companies that want to charge to come out and do nothing.

I expressed my concern based on reviews on Facebook and that I was worried I would experience predatory practices or have someone who didn't want to do their job right. This was absolutely not the case. He checked everything and explained everything he was doing. showed me what he found and explained how he tested it. I was involved in the whole process and he answered every question and was very empathetic to our situation. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable. He got everything taken care of same day! I'm very happy he offered me the monthly membership that saves me the 85$ fee on a maintenance check up for my furnace and air conditioner. I even saved money today by getting it! Darrin Lewis amd Peterman Brothers are hands down amazing. My entire experience was amazing in fact. When I called them they didn't promise when they could be there but said it would be the same day. I got a call 30 minutes later saying the technician was on the way. He actually arrived exactly 30 minutes later, got straight to work, explained the process along the way and I got all my problems fixed for a ridiculously good price. From the time I called them to the time everything was done took no more than 2.5 hours. I work in Property Management and can tell you that this turnaround time is the best I've ever encountered. I'll never use anybody else and I want them to know that Darrin was awesome. I give him and the company five stars and recommend them to anybody!

Adam did a GREAT job at doing his regular plumbing maintenance and was also able to help us with a bathtub leak!!! Conrad G. did electrical work in my basement so a water softener could be installed. He was very polite and knowledgeable electrician. He also performed an electrical inspection of the entire home and discussed his report. Conrad even volunteered to help when a leak was noticed in the basement after a heavy rain. Absolutely blown away with Peterman brothers and especially Jeff Waltz. Jeff could not have been more professional and personable. I scheduled an estimate. Jeff arrived and asked what was going on, I explained everything and everything I personally replaced. I spent some time on it and within 30 seconds Jeff glanced at it and said I had everything correct. Jeff could have moved onto the estimate, but nope. He was determined to troubleshoot and find the issue. That he did. The estimate for a new unit finally came up when I had to ask. I only asked because of how old my unit is. Jeff had made it clear from the beginning it wouldn't be until the end, so I didn't have to ask from any fault of his.
The service industry is crazy. I couldn't imagine going to a car lot with a 20 year old car not working and them fixing it before giving you an estimate on a new car.
If you are in the fort wayne area, call Peterman brothers and do yourself a favor and ask for Jeff W.

Stephen installed a sump pump for my home. He was very polite and thoughtful, even offered to put down plastic so he didn’t make a mess through my house, which I really appreciated. While in the crawl space for instillation, he noticed my dryer coil vent had detached from the output to the house and offered to reconnected it for me. I truly believe this is above and beyond when it comes to caring for a customer! He did a fabulous job, I highly recommend him!

I was hesitant to work with Peterman because I generally think any company with that much advertising is ripping you off. However, we have had nothing but good experiences with this company and their professionals. They are not the cheapest option but they are fast, communicative, straight forward and really take care of the customer service. For example, both times we used them this year they handled contacting the parts company to get the parts sent under warranty. Other companies told me to call the parts company. A small thing but makes life easier when I already have problems on my hands like ice cold showers or no AC! You do pay more but the service is worth it in my opinion. I don't feel ripped off and I trust them!
